Lolly Dominski receives her award

2015 Parish Pastor of the Year

(No award was given for 2016.)

Congratulations, Lolly!

The Academy of Parish Clergy is pleased to honor Rev. Lolly Dominski as the 2015 Parish Pastor of the Year. The award was given at the Academy’s Annual Conference, held April 21-23, 2015 at the Inn at the Claggett Center in Buckeystown, Maryland.

Dominski serves as co-pastor of Morton Grove Community Church, Presbyterian in Morton Grove, Illinois.  In presenting the award to Dominski, APC Secretary Mark Petersen noted that representatives from the staff and membership of Morton Grove Community Church, and from the Presbytery of Chicago, described Dominski as attentive to the living presence of God in her faith, and collaborative and empowering in her leadership.  She also was characterized as compassionate, awake to the needs of people, and humble.  Petersen commented that the APC’s Wisconsin Colleague Group would add “collegial” in describing Dominski. It is the fourth time in the 24-year history of the Parish Pastor of the Year Award that it has been given to a member of the APC.
