Contribute to Sharing the Practice

The journal of the Academy of Parish Clergy is perhaps unlike any other clergy journal. It is written by and for parish pastors. The journal is always looking for excellent contributions that focus on the work of the ministry. We are looking for feature articles, columns on technological resources, and of course book reviews. If you would like to contribute an article or book review, please contact Bob Cornwall, the journal’s editor, at .

Regular columns should be approximately 750 words in length. Feature articles should run between 1500 and 3000 words, and should be discussed with the editor before submission. Longer articles are occasionally accepted but should also be cleared with the editor. Submissions should be sent to the editor as either a Word or Word Perfect document.

We prefer to run reviews of recently published books. If you are interested in reviewing a recent book check with the editor to see about getting a copy. Book reviews should run between 500 and 750 words. Books should be cleared with the editor to ensure they have not been reviewed previously and that they meet the guidelines for reviews.

Sharing the Practice is published quarterly in March, June, September and December. To be considered for publication, articles and reviews need to be submitted to the editor at least one month before publication.
