Grace Ji-Sun Kim is a Korean-American theologian and professor at Earlham School of Theology. She was born in Seoul, South Korea and immigrated with her family to London, Ontario in 1975. She earned a B.Sc. in Psychology from Victoria University at the University of Toronto, a Master of Divinity degree from Knox College, University of Toronto, and a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from St. Michael’s College, University of Toronto. She is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Her presentation at the APC will focus on the message of her book Embracing the Other: The Transformative Spirit of Love (Eerdmans, 2015). The presentations will invite participants to broaden their theological and pastoral horizons, recognizing the varieties of ways in which human beings exist, worship, and serve.
Her presentations will conclude on Wednesday with an interfaith panel, drawn from representatives from the Metro- Detroit area.

> About the Venue
St. Paul of the Cross Passionist Retreat and Conference Center offers an experience to remember! You will find several meeting spaces, a beautiful chapel, 85 private guest bedrooms with individual bathroom and an exceptional dining service. The Center is surrounded by a secured 20 acres of outdoor statues, pathways and gardens.
Directions from Detroit Metro Airport
Take I-94 East to Telegraph North
Follow the I-96 East sign. Turn right (at Schoolcraft which is the I-96 service drive). Do NOT go on the freeway, stay on the service drive. Just a short distance beyond Virgil (traffic light) watch for the St. Paul of the Cross sign located near the driveway on your right. Turn into the drive and follow up through the open gate.
